Ancestral Peace House curates a full-service retreat package for the group you’re leading. Bring your own teacher and your own group, or book one of ours. Either way, the space, the meals, and the coffee bar are taken care of before you arrive, so you can spend your time with your students instead of running around after logistics.

WHO WE ARE

Two Decades of Retreats in the Riviera Maya

Michael Gannon rebuilt Ancestral Peace House in 2024. He also opened Yogaloft Playa del Carmen back in 2013, and it’s still going strong.

Michael has taught in more than 50 countries since the late ’90s and has lived in Playa del Carmen since 2008. He and his team have been hosting retreat groups here for over a decade, so they know how to make one run smoothly.

LOCATION

Quiet, But Close to Town and the Beach

The property sits at the end of a cul-de-sac, backing onto the golf course inside the gated community of Playacar. It’s a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach and to 5th Avenue, so your group can rest when they want quiet and walk into town when they don’t.
