The philosophy at Gannon Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga (GAVY) is simple. Based o­n the idea of GAVY founder, Michael Gannon, ‘Yoga can be practiced by EVERYBODY. Therefore we must learn to teach it to ANYBODY!’ The yoga systems that are the most effective today, must also be the most accessible. There is a shortage of sufficiently trained teachers to share traditional yoga systems in a way that makes it available to people at every level. GAVY Teacher Apprenticeships solve this problem.

The GAVY system of teaching yoga is based o­n the proven yoga traditions from India. The way that Michael learned it from 10 years of visits to India, training with his Gurus. BUT, we take it an important step further, making these practices palatable for the western mind. And it is through this system that GAVY has graduated over 150 teachers from 30 countries to teach yoga. Teach yoga to ANYBODY. Teach yoga to EVERYBODY.

GAVY has developed a series of programs to offer serious practitioners, aspiring teachers and current teachers a method to explode their practice potential, cultivate fresh teaching skills and inspire real life transformations.

10-Weekend Program

- Ten Individual 2.5 day Modules (18 contact hours each) 3,800 pesos
per weekend, includes Anatomy Workshop
- Weekend Yoga Anatomy Workshop (12-hours) cost included above
- Home Study Audio Course (6-weeks) 5,000 pesos

The first payment of all programs is the cost of the Home Study Course (5,000 pesos or US$500). This serves as a non-refundable payment to secure Apprentice’s space as well as the cost of the Home Study Course.

As soon as the student makes the first non-refundable payment of 5,000 pesos, they will start to receive the content for their Home Study Course (see below).

The remaining tuition fees are paid accordingly:

Tuition fees for Month Long Intensive program must be paid in full 60-days prior to the start of the Apprenticeship Intensive.

Tuition fees for the individual modules/weekends may be paid o­n a per module basis. The first module/weekend must be paid at least 60-days prior to the start of that module. All remaining modules may be paid at least 30-day before the start of that module/weekend.

A 10% discount is available to students who pay for the entire tuition fee 60-days before the start of the first module (not available for Month Long Intensive).
